Hi !

I noticed yesterday that i can't save files on my startup partition anymore. The partition is not present in the "save as" dialog box of any application. If i tell Sherlock to find a file on this partition, it finds it but deny my to open it (it tells me that the file is into an invisible folder, which is wrong). in the Finder, When i click into the title of a window -holding the command key- the path of the folder should appear: so it does, but only on others partitions...

It wasnt like that 3 days ago... i dont know what i done wrong. (I recently installed macOS X)
My first partition is 8.5 Gb large and contains macOS X only (hfs+)
my starup partition is the following (1 Gb) and contains mac OS 9.0.4 (standard hfs)

Had anybody experienced the same problem ??

it's because the startup disk is an HFS volume. you can download a utility to correct this from the macfixit site (http://www.macfixit.com/reports/macosx.shtml#recent). follow the link to alsoft from there.
