Portal: prelude = fanmade levels of portal. Pretty well done appearance-wise, and, they say, storywise. However, I'll never see any of it because of the insane duck jumps accurate to a pixel you have to do to get past the second level.

So what exactly is the deal with Portal: Still Alive? Other than it being an XBOX Live Marketplace game.

Portal: Still Alive is an Xbox Live Arcade game that includes the original Portal maps from The Orange Box along with the maps found in the Portal Flash Map pack. The Portal Flash maps are available for free download for PC gamers from http://portalmaps.wecreatestuff.com/

I really wish they had released still alive last year. I played the demo last night, and if you've played through the original game, it's overpriced. Not to mention you've already done half the achievements already.

Am i the only one that fails to see the point of this game? Maybe I was sleepy when I played, but i just remember running around zapping holes in the wall...

Yeah, and zapping portals in the wall is a pretty creative game mechanic, and it makes for a really good puzzle game.

Not to mention the hilariously menacing Aperture Science facility complete with a megalomaniacal homicidal central computer.

Any game can be boiled down into some inane set of actions. If that's all you get out of Portal, that sucks, because its a really cool game.
