How well does it run on a 2006 iMac with 2 gb of memory? I'll have to look up exactly which model it is (it's not mine).

How about the latest and greatest Power Mac? The very first macbook? (I don't think it'll work on the macbook since even Splinter Cell 3 didn't run on mine).

I'm trying to think of creative ways of getting the DLC for Fallout 3 without having to necessarily buy it for the 360...
Now I know, and knowing is half the battle!

It won't run on a Power Mac. Won't run on the first MacBook. MIGHT run on the 2006 iMac, but not well.

What are you trying to do, anyways?
I'm on MacNN forums, but no longer have a Mac...

Sorry, I meant Mac Pro, not Power Mac. lol. I keep forgetting it's not called the Power Mac anymore.

The goal is to try and run Fallout 3 on the Mac by booting up XP (using Boot Camp).

Ah. Then yes, it will run on the Mac Pro. Any variation I believe. But you'll want the latest with the 8800 for good performance.

So you're using Boot Camp, right?

(Just read this thread again... Why did I ask that last question? Dumb.)

I've used Crossover games to play SOME windows games on my mac. I can't, however, get Fallout 3 to work. Anyone have any experience with Crossover or know how to use fallout with it? I think my problem is with the torrents, if I went and bought the disk it'd be super easy from what I've heard.

Crossover games is pretty interesting, and I play a windows MMORPG with out any problems. It's called Nexus: TK, and there's no delay with commands or anything, plays as smooth as butter. If anyone can help me do the same with Fallout 3 that'd be awesome.

no worries...I do that all the time. ^_^

Thank goodness I don't have to try and run Fallout 3 on a PC anymore. (I never sat down to try and install it). ps3 gets the GOTY in just a few short weeks!
