I think I used Palm's address book with OS9.

angel, will that work natively in os 9? they mention emulation and sheepshaver.
big mac, on my office computer, a little imac g3 i hope to get it to do everything i want. this thing is totally quiet. i just need an address book and a download of tinybooks and maybe a couple of more things i haven't thought of yet to complete the mix. i think. for background music i also have itunes 2 and it works very well. and stuff flies on 9. i'm a nostalgic person. my brother laser printer works on 9 and appleworks i can use for letters and i have a version of checkmark payroll that works with 9. where 9 totally drops the ball is with internet and i'm not even going to try that. that's a losing battle both today and tomorrow. a little ipad next to the keyboard will take care of that. my machine is dual boot but the x version is 10.2 and that is a lot slower than 9. now i could upgrade my memory and upgrade to 10.4 and more modern software but what's the point? trying to keep a g3 modern is also a losing battle.

Yes, it does work natively in Mac OS 9. I've just installed it on a G4 MDD.
Not sure if you have to have CarbonLib installed to get it working.
I too rely on iTunes 2 under Mac OS 9, but the free Audion from Panic is very good.

As for the G3, I have an old Power Mac G3 350MHz with 1 GB RAM and it works really well under 10.4

I can't get the the 9.2 version installed. I have customized it since I didn't want that sync software installed, nor I need it. Not sure why that would be the culprit since it is clear the software can be used as a standalone app.
