What's a viewing page? What are you talking about? Do you mean you have two displays and they've switched or what?

sorry... what i am trying to asking is how to switch the display resolution back to default 1280 x 854 from 854 x 1280...
b'cos everything on screen now is read from left to right with the 854 x 1280 resolution.
thank you

This still makes no sense. But you change resolutions in the Displays control preferences. How can you have a larger vertical resolution? What do you mean "reading from left to right?" Are you using a different language?

Are you running Tiger, AND you held down the Option key when opening the Displays panel of System Preferences, AND you then set the option to rotate displays?
Quit System Preferences, and then repeat the above.

hi steve,
thank you answering my question. yea i'm using five different languages back n forth. so sometimes it's a little bit hard for me to explain things in english... i'm sorry
ok...here's my 3rd try...
normally we read things from top to bottom and left to right on screen. but now what i see is like everything being rotated 90 degrees.
