When I first installed microsoft's intellipoint drivers for my optical ms mouse, I realized that apple's system mouse driver was not nearly as accurate as Microsoft's. This is easy to see when switching between them and trying to circle a small object on the screen with your pointer. Using intellipoint was great, until yesterday when I tried to switch to logitech's new VX Revolution. Logitech's software is only willing to use the system driver, as their software does not include a driver selection of their own.

(I have attempted to leave microsoft's software still on, but it does not effect the system driver.

Has anyone written a replacement - or are their any hacks to up the accuracy?
