Is this thing bluetooth, and if it is do I need to use the included usb dongle?

No bluetooth as far as I know.

It uses a dongle. But, the dongle is only 1 inch long and stows away inside the mouse. I really like mine.

You must be talking about the VX Revolution, the MX Revolution is the desktop version and there is no place to store the dongle in the mouse.

Since no-one's said it definitively so far - no, it's not Bluetooth. It's RF, and you'll need the dongle.

Nice mouse, though. I wish the battery life were a bit longer and I didn't need any drivers to get some of the extra features out of it, but it's still a good 'un.

Anyone looking to buy the MX should know this link exists, the lack of a real logitech driver is really dissapointing. Check this out.
