Yep, this is the true calling. Not only is the bed within 5 feet of his computer, his primary food source can be seen within arms length. While the water bottle only lasts so long on the desk, I am sure he keeps back up supplies under his bed. Infact, this macphile is so well trained i would guess it would be a few days before he would have to come out of his room.
How do I know... same situation.

How hard was it to apply that Mactallic the first time? Do you like the product? I am thinking of getting one.
Thanks!

Is it just me or does that Mactallic thing look utterly ridiculous?! If the whole iMac was coloured fair enough, but you might as well get a sheet of colour paper and stick it on your iMac!

Cool, a fridge under the desk!
That would save me a lot of thinking while working long hours in front of my G4. Such as, should I go now to the fridge or in ten minutes? What will I find inside? Will I be satisfied or will this trip to the fridge be for nothing?

Here is my first post and a wee pic of my current setup.
17" iMac G5, 2Ghz, 1.5 gb ram and 250Gb harddrive.
This replaced my five year old iMac G3 400Mhz which was struggling to cope with new releases of OSX.

I completely forgot I had pictures of my setup on my computer.
2GHz 20" iMac G5, 2GB RAM. This picture was taken prior to my purchase of a 12" iBook in August, so I now have an HP 1610 AIO printer sitting on that top shelf below the desk. Since then I've also purchased a pair of Altec Lansing FX6021 speakers. I'll take some new pictures soon. Oh - once last thing: the iPod mini in the picture is dead now (RIP) but my 20GB iPod w/ color display has gracefully taken it's place. I love warranty programs.

Haha, thank you!
I actually have 2 of those cool boxes - one is the actual box set, and the other was a friend's box from his set - he didn't want it anymore for some odd reason! So now I stash some other SP CDs in there.

It's an Ikea Jerker desk but NOT the Jerker computer desk. the computer desk is much smaller and has an odd shelf and an indent in the frontI assume for a keyboard tray. I didn't like it very much. This one is I guess the workplace desk or something along thoselines. It'smuch larger and provides a ton of workspace. The desk and legs were 89 dollars I believe and the add on drawers were 39 dollars which was a great deal IMO.
The dressers are their aneboda line. I think it was 49 or 59 dollars.
I also got a loveseat in the same style with blue cusions for 129 that I placed in front of the iMac. It's a really nice setup, especially for the price

Here's my new iMac G5 w/ iSight. It's just in a temporary setup for now. I really need an actual desk...and something on the walls.
jjlannoo, love the Duke Nukem 3D mousepad you have. I have the same one, but the Mighty Mouse didn't track very well on it. It's old and worn out. So, I'll stick with the Zelda one for now.

Dude mine is worn out too the top layer is starting to peel at the edges. How old are these things anyways...I forget. I know mine came with the game when it was released for the PC ages ago.

Thanks. I bought the Jerker desk today...same color also. Looks great and far easier to set up than my previous desk! Lots of space. I might buy the dresser later on as I am moving in about 2.5 weeks and don't want to carry too much junk as I only have a Civic. The drawers were too expensive for me, but I got the desk at IKEA's 15% 20th anniversay sale.

I have no idea, actually. I purchased it locally for $50 after replying to an ad on Craigslist (Austin) way back in June. It's the perfect size for my space - I don't have enough room for a huge 6' desk, or even a 5' one at that. I believe mine is a little over 4' in length. Plus, the seller threw in a matching printer stand for free that is now being used as my TV stand!
