Everytime I log into Tiger, the Keyboard Setup Assistant pops up and asks me to press the button next to the left and right Shift keys. I am using a Matias Tactile Pro keyboard and no USB hub. My mouse is a Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical.

Is there any way to turn this off? It's getting kind of annoying.

Thanks in advance...

I had something similar go on with my Apple Wireless Keyboard, but once I deleted its Bluetooth pairing and re-created it under Tiger all was well again.

Asmack, I'm using the same keyboard as you and having the same problem. I did some searches and found out that lots of people with non-Apple keyboards are having this problem in Tiger. I've filed a bug report with Apple, and hopefully the problem will be solved in the next update.

I'm using the Apple keyboard and a wireless Logitech mouse. The mouse was part of a set with a keyboard, and I am guessing as Tiger detects the mouse and it's wireless antenna it's also looking for the keyboard. When I feel like finding the keyboard (it's around here somewhere!) I'm going to let it detect it and hopefully get rid of the message for good...
