I use transparent dock ( http://www.freerangemac.com/) to adjust the transparency of my dock on my g5 powermac and g4 powerbook. But unforetunetly transparent dock is not compatable with intel based macs. Does anyone know of a similar program that will work with intel based macs?

Yeah but cleadock completely removes the dock background. I just want to be able to adjust the transparency, not do away with it all together.
thanks.

That did it! Thanks mate. I didn't realize that cleardock would allow you to adjust the opacity of the dock.. Thanks much.

Wow, thanks for recommending that ClearDock application! I was so sceptical about all of the Unsanity programs, but with all the luck I've had with Shapeshifter, I trust them now.
