It worked here -- both in Mac OS 9 and in Mac OS X 10.1.5.

I have a G4 450 DP, 960MB of RAM, and a Radeon card...

YMMV,

Installed it on a PB G4 800, and a QuickSilver 867...the installer ran fine in both cases.

Same here, crashed at the end of installation. But it "seems" to have installed fine.

Mine unexpectedly quit during the optimisation too. I did notice in top that the update_prebinding process and SoftwareUpdateEngine process remained until the prebinding finished. Then they quit so I restarted, fired up SU and it didn't show the Applescript update again so I think it installed fine. I don't think there is any reason to be concerned about it unexpectdly quitting.

it worked perfectly on my computer, but my tip is: close all apps before you install.
