May I recommend the Ergo Baby Carrier for when he's a little bigger?

Yep. Weight's on the hips, and it worked for us until she was about three.

Can be worn on the back, as well, and using it is extremely easy - even pulling up the hood when the li'l one falls asleep.

It was just a silly comment, not meant to be confrontational.

Then I won't fault you on intent, but there's some sort of empathy disconnect going on if you can't see how it most assuredly comes off as confrontational.

I mention this, rather than just pleading we drop it, because you have always struck me as someone who would be bothered by and seek to rectify failing to have an empathetic connection with someone.

Why must we analyze the read out of everything?

If he was bothered by that silly comment, I will apologize and stop. He doesn't seem that uptight to me.

So, a hurtful comment is only hurtful if the hurt person personally admits to it ?

Do you have a negative EQ ?

Turtle, your constant confrontations with people on MacNN is hurtful to me.

Can we (all) move on, or are we going to do the MacNN thing and pick pick pick pick the gamble out of this? Chongo, I have nothing against you, I apologize for the joke if it bothers you, but I hope that you'll also agree that if we are all constantly walking on eggshells being hyper sensitive and worried about every little comment, a great many MacNN threads will be like driving through mud, getting stuck on little particulars and obsessing over them.

I like exploring the extents of provocativeness, maybe I'm like Rob in that respect in not wanting to have to worry about every comment in every thread being trap free. Sometimes I just want to say what I want to say.

You know, it would have been much easier if you had straight away apologized, rather than justifying and arguing away your behavior.

No. I've seen Homies wearing gold ones that make mine look like a pin. The one I wear is a St. Benedict medal Crucifix and is quite small comapred to crucifixes worn by members of some religious orders. Our Parish gift shop also sells the one worn by Pope Francis
Father Wade Menezes of the Fathers of Mercy.

I have noticed that the first thing people look at when I walk by is my crucifix. I have receved numerous compliments, and have yet to hear any complaints. I have also notiiced that many people "clean up thier act" when they see my Crucifix.

BTW, Ozzy has mine beat.

Yeah... while I was taught things like cursive and how to print lowercase letters, I never actually do anything other than print uppercase.

I have no explanation for it.

More to Subego's point, is if we are going to show our real selves in a thread, be brave enough to drop personas and be a person, don't make sensitive jokes. Especially, in besson's case, if he is not man enough to post a real picture of himself and thus even the playing field.

I'm glad Chongo has a sense of humor about it though.

Well, you can't really do that. I posted a blurry pic of myself in the worst possible light; just woke up, ungroomed, naked, and intentionally making a goofy face. Just for yucks, right? Not so. Soon after, one of the more odious members here used it against me to fuel a particularly nasty personal attack in another thread. It appears to me that some people look for any opportunity to jab and hurt others they're at odds with ideologically, they seem to be incapable of turning such attitudes off.

When you and a mod jumped them they did, it certainly wasn't the case when I simply mentioned how petty it was.

I need to find out how you post a photo, since this site doesn't have a photo gallery. I look pretty much like Walter White/Heisenberg.

Fred? Is your name Fred? I think I'll call you Fred.

Also, I have a new haircut, and a real problem looking directly at the ipad camera.

You do look like WW, but there's someone else too, who I haven't placed yet.

Ultimately, you're a bit to healthy looking to really be WW.

That's a good color on you.

I'd also like to point out that your painting of a cat contains another painting of a cat.

Sorry, I'm not going to do that. It's nothing to do with bravery, I don't care about influencing thoughts or opinions about how I look, it's mostly a career strategery sort of thing with some internet privacy built in.

Besides, you can't prove that I'm not Tom Hanks.

Chongo, I apologize again for my comments about your crucifix, and to subego for upsetting your vibe you are going for here, and to Laminar for whatever will prevent him from being mean to me.
