I so want a new TV, but I need to quit spending so much money.

I did camp out in front of Best Buy for Black Friday 2006. I got some pretty rad deals, but it sure was cold as hell out there. I think I'll just stay home and buy whatever I want on eBay.
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.

It's 50 something degrees today here in sunny SoFL, you people are crazy to camp out in such weather in the rest of the country! Heck to crap if it's even colder.

Black Friday might be wishful thinking this year. Consumer spending is down quite a bit. It could take a few more days of robust sales to get out of the red.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Yonkers can have better TV reception.

Might be wishful thinking for retailers, but it is a dream come true for us, fat walleted Mac users (or at least for those of us who haven't maxed our our credit cards yet).

My 30+ y.o. 27" TV has finally died. Should I buy my first LCD TV this year, or wait until Laser TVs are sold for under $1000?

Buy a higher end LCD with 120 Hz and 1080p support.

If you're used to a 27" TV, a 42" LCD should suffice, and it's a very good bang for your buck.

Don't bother waiting for laser.

Any LED backlighted LCD TV in the horizon? I heard that the fluorescent lighting in an LCD TV will fade with the years. I am looking for a 1080p TV that will last until 1080p is ridiculously obsolete (just like my 30 y.o. TV did).

I quit the only retail job I ever had just before black Friday.

Geez, can't imagine going through this madness.

I hate posts that start with a link.

Don't you have any stuff on your own?
