I have a user that is getting crashes when sending emails from Entourage. A brief clip of the error is

I've seen posts of problems since updating to 12.2.27 but it seems this user hasn't done that. Can anyone advise please.

Thanks

Get Outlook. Much smoother experience. Entourage is a terrible, terrible application.

If you MUST stay with entourage quit all office apps then go to the home folder > library and delete everything microsoft related from Applications Support folder, Caches folder, and Preferences Folder.

Restart.

Or simply update to 12.2.8. Much more stable. 12.2.7 was an unstable update.

First thing to try is run the Microsoft Database Utility and select the option to rebuild the current database. This option will make a backup of the existing database (in case something goes wrong during the procedure, one can simply revert to what you had), then it will make repairs and compress and create a new database. Often Entourage errors are a result of a problem in the database (the single large file that stores everything for the program).
