I ordered a 10 gig refurbed iPod from Apple on 9/10/03. It was estimated to ship in 1-2 days. Fine, well it got delayed for 2 days. Then got delayed again for another couple days, and this time it says if you don't reply we will cancel your order. Now again they have delayed it saying if I don't reply they will cancel my order. We'll I replyed asking them WTF is going on. I think they oversold and are now trying to get people to cancel their orders.

Anyways they replyed with this. Pretty generic I think.

Has anyone else ordered one of those gen 2 10 gig refurbs (they were a hella deal). If so has it shipped yet?

A friend of mine ordered the refurb 20GB and has encountered the same delay and e-mails as you. The $170 pricetag for the 10GB was nice and I imagine that they were swamped with orders. Perhaps you can try calling them to find out what options are available to you.
