Do you guys know how some email client let you select an option that notifies you when an email message (that you sent out) is being read, or delivered? Can this be done in Mail somehow? A friend of mine wants to get this done with Mail.

Optimus G4 was kind enough to refer me to macupdate.com He didn't give the name of the plug-in that will do this. I took a quick look at the site and did a search but couldn't find a plug-in.

I'll be trying again. When I find it I'll post the name of the plug-in.

Great! I will look as well and post my findings here. May I ask you which thread was it on where Optimus G4 helped out? Could you provide a link to that one as well please.

I found it! MailPriority. Just add priorities and receipt icons to compose or reply toolbars after installing and you're all set.

It doesn't always work. Users can have "return receipt" off. I do. I think it's annoying to have receipts.
