My PocketPC does not connect via MissingSynch. Tech support said to do the following:

"Do a search for PocketMacUSB.kext. A few other customers have reported that this file has been left behind after following the un-installation steps. You should be able to remove this file using Terminal."

When I do a finder search for the file nothing is found. I don't know how to work with Terminal. Could someone give me guidance on finding and deleting this file with Terminal? (MissingSynch tech support usually takes 24 hours for a response.)

Thanks,
Bob

%su
#/usr/libexec/locate.updatedb
#locatate PocketMacUSB.kext

Most likely it'll turn up in /System/Library/Extensions with all the other kernel extensions.
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

And you remove the file by doing:

sudo rm filename
