Hey,
I currently have a transparent dock, which I love...

However, my wallpaper is black, therefore the little 'triangles' indicating whether a program is open or not don't show up I was curious about how I could change the colour of these 'triangles'?

Any help would be appreciated.

TransparentDock also allows you to choose the color on the triangles.

TransparentDock also manually edits the files, making it "less safe." ClearDock is an Application Enhancer, and I believe it works like Shapeshifter in that it doesn't actually change the files. In short, TransparentDock can kill your dock, ClearDock can't. Also, TransparentDock makes you choose between a few preset colors. TransparentDock isn't free. However, Trans... ... At one time there was an application that allowed you to really skin the dock (skin a dock heh) but I don't think that it works with Panther anymore. But I would recommend clear dock .. unless of course skin a dock returns, because that was cool.

there's is an app out that can skin your dock in Panther. It's on MacUpdate right now. it's called A-Dock X http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/10287 - it's missing the magnification of the icons in the dock and if you replace the gfx in the dock, then new apps opened will fade in very slowly and the same out. Atleast on my geforce4mx

That doesn't skin the dock. It's its own thing. And it can't really replace the dock, because you can't minimize windows to it. It's not a Dock replacement, it's "...an application switcher utility on steroids."

oops, ofcourse. My fault. You're right. It's a different Dock app and wont skin the original Apple Dock.app. Sorry about that misinformation.

I don't remember if this app changes the triangles color, but it does skin the dock.

I don't think it changed the triangles, and it definitely doesn't work on 10.3

I would stick with Transparent Dock... it lets you make a backup of your virgin Dock so if something goes wrong, you can just replace it.

Yeah, Transparent Dock did the trick for me, and it changes the triangles as well. Only thing I've had trouble with though, is that it seems that when I use Transparent Dock I get a 1"x1" square near the bottom left corner of my screen that I simply cannot click on. Quitting Dock.app gets rid of the issue, but it seems to pop up again after I've had my screensaver running for awhile or something.
