Alright recently my Ipod Has decided that it wont sync with my windows pc, it still recognizes my Firewire when I charge it in my dock, but not my USB when I plug it into the computer ( dont have a Firewire port on my computer so thats outta the question).

I have tried re-installing the ipod software and nothing has been working so far. I guess I have the first gen Mini,(the one before the new 4 & 6 gb versions) and it is only about 4 months old, Should I send it to Apple? Or has anyone else had the same problem/solutions...

I don't know too much about the Minis, but try finding a friend who has a Firewire port on their computer, and see if you can get it to recognise your iPod via that.. at least that way you'll know where the problem is - your comp, the usb, or whatever else.
