How is the video quality of the iMac? How does it compare to stand-alone Apple monitors?

Thanks,
Bob

the G5 iMac displays have similar specs to the older apple displays...all i could say is that the 20" screen is awesome, while the 17" display is adequate for most needs.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)

I just got a 17" iMac G5, and I will say that I am satisfied with the display. It's not quite as nice as my 15" PB, but for as reason I can't quite put my finger on. It's doesn't bother me at all, but I'm not screaming "WOW, OMG IT'S SOOOO AWESOME!!!!11" every time I sit down in front of it.

The screen on the 20" iMac G5 is just amazing. I got mine on Wednesday and I'm still in awe.

"I start fires!"
