I tried to install a new update last night for the macbook pro. It was a security update and the express card update. Now the computer will not start up. I ran the disk repair from the install disk; it made the necessary repairs, but still will not start. Just get the apple logo.
Anything that can be done from the terminal? I can start the terminal from the CD? Disk warrior used to work, but cannot use it on the intel Macs.
Any tools for intel that can help me? Anything I can run from the terminal?
Thanks

How long did you watch the Apple logo before you gave up. What did you do then?
It might be a few minutes, but just let it go. I'd say 10 minutes is too long, but at least let it go that long.

I waited 30 minutes, which was very optimistic of me!
