Not that subtle... The VA Atty Gen'l has been pretty harsh against the Obama admin, so It comes as no shock that the way to punish VA is remove the Naval Base at Norfolk. Perhaps If he could keep his wife from all those vacations the feds might still have the money.

Man, don't hurt your back scraping the bottom of the barrel. Maybe you would have been happier if she took her vacations at a ranch in Texas?

You do realize the Presidential staff is paid whether or not she goes on vacation.

I'm pretty sure the naval base isn't going anywhere. Gates is talking about cutting the Joint Forces Command, which operates from Norfolk.

Here's, you know, a source:
Gates Says Defense Bureaucracy Bloated, Declares Cuts in Contractor Jobs - Bloomberg

I'm also pretty sure that Virginia AG Ken Cuccinelli, a.k.a. "The Cooch," is not a figure of serious importance to the Obama administration. I mean his friggin' nickname is "The Cooch." (Ironically, he objects to the partial female nudity on the Virginia state seal).

First Catrina, now Nofolk.

What's next? Pres. 0bama, Pres. Bus, and Pres. Raygun?

Not surprising. Texas is gradually taking punishment too, with our environmental department and unionization of public employees, etc. Insanity.

What exactly do you mean "You guys"? Is that some kind of code word, like "you people"?

Maybe I should just share my opinions with people who LOOK LIKE ME. Is THAT what you're implying here?

Alright, I'll bite. Those of you who find fault with Obama for everything/anything that happens.

Now, misdirection aside, what does the EPA's dispute with Texas's clean air laws have to with Obama when they were warned five years ago that this was coming?

This article from May indicates that things have transpired in the last few months. Sounds like Texas is getting picked on. Again.
