I got scammed by bmd6491 (Brandon DiBona- [email protected])

I found out that he visits the MacRumors boards and other sites.

I found out his IP address through one of the other sites.

Can anyone help me figure out more about this kid?

If you can help. please IM me, and I'll give you the IP address.

I am trying to get info on him so I can get the authorities involved.

Thanks.

I paid him for an Apple BT KB and Mighty Mouse through paypal, and he has never sent it. This was in late Oct. He has not answered any PMs or any of the posts in the marketplace, even though I know he's been online.

Paypal refunded me a whole frikken 16 cents out of the $105.00.

So now I'm looking to contact the authorities, unless I hear from him.

If anyone knows how to use an IP address and some other info to find more about people, please let me know.

Thanks

Any idea what his ISP IS? do a traceroute on the IP and see what you get, if it is adelphia/comcast/time warner I can probably help you, if not you can probably call the ISP and see if they will do anything (probably not)

Did you pay with a credit card or a bank account? if it was a credit card tell them it was fraud and they will refund the money and tell paypal to sod off.

I have he isp at home. i'll post it later after I get home.

I will be contacting my credit card company, but I still don't want this jerk getting away with $100.

got your PM, I think you can find him if you try where I told you, refrain from posting any more info here or where he can find the posts, you want to stay 1 step ahead of scum like this.

good luck and PM me if you get any more info... Keep it off the boards.
