Hellsing: Ultimate.

BLEACH, once it picks up.

Bebop, especially the movie, and

Castle of Cagliostro, well Miyazaki in general.

How many of you are just listing what you saw on Adult Swim? If you are, you should seek out new anime. There is tons out there.

Now I am not saying the stuff on Adult Swim is bad, I like it too. Just saying there is a ton more too see

God I hate inuyasha. Good premise, hell the story had promise once. Now the characters are just painful to watch.

Definitely Hellsing on my list, loved Samurai Champloo so I'll have to check out cowboy beebop.

I saw Haibane Renmei about a month ago and made a thread about it just because of how good it was. Nobody responded, but still — really good show! It's not like anything else I've ever seen. There are very few TV shows that are actually able to make me feel something, but that one really worked. That is definitely my favorite anime now.

I saw the first DVD only and I thought it was pretty neat. Still interested to see the rest.

Thank you for the reminder!

Its tough to sit down and watch an Anime, even just a movie. There are so many and somebody will say each one is the greatest. For instance I watched R.O.D and hated it.

Well, most TV shows are only half an hour long. I don't find it that hard to sit down for 30 minutes and see if a show sucks. If a show piques my interest, I'll watch more. If not, move on to the next!

Yeah, I'm a real sucker though. Maybe the next episode won't suck. Maybe the next episode won't suck.

Part of it can also be the style which is occasionally enough to drag me along.

I watched Lain for the nifty technical references, but I couldn't really get into the plot or characters.

Another good series by the same people is Haibane Renmei. The world and characters are better fleshed out, and the art style is somewhat more refined, but a word of warning: don't watch it when you're tired.

I miss the Sci-Fi Thanksgiving day marathons of the mid 90s that featured tons of anime.
