Safari: How to delete records on address bar?

Hi
How to delete records on Safari's address bar?
Have tried resetting safari, deleting caches and deleting */library/safari no one helps
In which file are the links stored?
Thank you and best regards
PS: googled, and tried macosxhints without success

Usually addresses in the address bar are a result of browsing history, where clearing it would get rid of the addresses in it.

And resetting Safari should have taken care of that, but the original poster said that didn't work.

Resetting Safari doesn't delete bookmarks. The original posters needs to remove those sites from his bookmarks.

Click and dragging away from the address bar will remove them in a puff of smoke ala removing items from the Dock.
Oops. My bad. I was thinking of the Bookmark bar.
Never mind.

Resetting Safari deletes history links on the address bar, leaving the ones are bookmarked

Resetting Safari to simply clear the address bar auto-complete is overkill. You lose saved passwords in your KeyChain and AutoFill entries, among others.
Simply select History > Clear History or you can selectively delete entries from the History window.
