Ok, I have a bunch of 512M SO-DIMMs I need to get rid of. The two drawbacks are that they are PC100 and they are high profile. I can dig up the site of the manufacturer if anyone shows interest.
You can buy these for yourself or to resell them or whatever, I just need to get rid of them. I'm initially going to ask $100 each but I will consider all reasonable offers.
And heck, if you buy one or more, I'LL PAY SHIPPING.

Ok guys, maybe you weren't paying attention when I said these were SO-DIMMs. This is laptop memory. Maybe I should bold that for those of you still not paying attention.
SO-DIMMS ARE LAPTOP MEMORY

And for my next trick, I'm going to lower the price to $85 shipped because I did some price checking and realized most places go for around $100 or so. Again, this is laptop memory, not normal SDRAM.
Also, I'll do a "non-DOA" deal where if for any reason the RAM doesn't work in your laptop, I'll refund you the money.

No offense, but your offer is insulting. Like I said before, this isn't SDRAM, it's laptop memory, and there's no way I'm selling it to anyone for the price of shipping.

I just looked up SO-DIMMs on dealram and saw that they go for as low as $75 after shipping. So I'll decrease the price once again to $70 shipped. That'll be my last price drop and if no one is interested, I'll just let the thread die.

I suppose technically they would be used, since I purchased them and am now reselling them. But I have never personally used the chips They're still wrapped up in the little anti-static bags I got them in. One of the bags is open because I tried to put one of the chips into my PowerBook G4 and realized it would only take low profile memory.
So technically, yes, they are used, but only in the way that I purchased them, they sat around my house, and I am now reselling them.
Also, I will take reasonable offers or bulk inquiries emailed to [email protected]

For the love of God, would you people stop trolling my thread and offering me inane amounts by comparing the price of these SO-DIMMs to regular SDRAM.
If you don't have an offer or a valid question about the memory, DON'T POST.

Ok, how about this then, both Boundless Technologies and 18004Memory offer PC133 512MB SO-DIMMs for $45 plus shipping. 18004Memory even has the PC100 ones for $41 each
http://store.yahoo.com/boundless1/gen51imflatp.html
http://www.18004memory.com/category....9&subcatid=905
Add $12 for 2-day fedex shipping for up to 4 modules.
I don't think you can call this a troll. But, to try to sell what is ostensibly used memory for what you're asking does lend itself to people posting better deals.

I apologize, I hadn't seen those listed on the previous link.
I can't keep up with the fluxuating prices of the memory market, so I'm just going to leave this well alone. I'd rather not go under $50 each because of how much I initially paid for them (when ram prices were still high). If I can figure out a way to close this thread, I will, otherwise I'm just going to consider it dead.

Interesting, one of the knowledges this year's Nobel prize winners in Economic imparted was (greatly simplified and paraphrased by me) is that people tend to overvalue when they are selling and undervalue when they are buyung. Case in point: people tend to hang on to stock losers or buy into overpriced stock.
