Got convinced to watch this by gf, I assumed it was a romance - I'll never ever judge a movie by its cover again!
I was really impressed by this movie, anyone else like it? thoughts?
FANTASTIC into animation too.

Romance? I guess you missed the trailers. Yeah, I thought it was one of Dicapro's better/more enjoyable performances and a very good story.

Good movie, though I though Hanks' accent was terrible.

better than his recent performances in Departed/Blood Diamond?
I used to hate DiCaprio but recently I think he's doing some good spy action stuff.

Yeah, you're right. He has had a string of very strong films. I also liked Body of Lies. I just think he's getting a little overused right now.

Great story. Check out the book; you'll be even more amazed by the first-hand account.

As someone very familiar with said accent I can say, with no exaggeration, that Hanks butchered it horribly.

Hanks' strength has never been doing accents.

His best work is still far behind him. It’s been getting better lately, but mostly, it’s still been downhill since Romeo+Juliet.
