Lately every time I close the lid on my rev c 12" I get a noise coming from the right hand side of the hinge. Sometimes it's just a faint clunk, and sometimes it's a loud "snap" noise. I'm gonna take it in to get looked at but I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas?

Had the same problems with my Ti a week ago. Unfortunately, one night the hinge snapped while I was closing it. It's off with the good folks at Apple Care at the moment. But you have an Al, so the hinge isn't as big of an issue. I'd get it looked at if I were you though, and ASAP.

i get it every now and then ...

my guess, heat / cold expands/contracts the hinge, making it less smooth ... no biggie until it has a lasting affect...
