So, I've got the volunteer position of assistant curator here:

http://www.museum-of-computing.org.uk

Was looking for something to do sparetime wise and hopefully this will be a good use of my interests and skills.

There's a fair bit to do, first stop is to redo the windows etc so it at least looks like something interesting. Then look at how the computers are displayed and made available to use.

Then the little museum shop.

Any retro tat gratefully received.

Cool stuff! I had that Toy Tronic racing game, looks so primitive now lol.

Love old computing - cheers to you on your work!

I'd love to come for a visit and bring my son- let me know when you will be there and perhaps you can give a tour?

Sure thing. Opening hours are restricted at the moment to basically Friday and Saturday. Is well worth a visit. Many interactive exhibits. The youngsters are appalled at how primitive all the old stuff is.
