Hello, I heard a while back that Apple now provided Authenticated SMTP for mac.com users. Can someone confirm this for me and tell me what the address of the SMTP server is? I've tried smtp.apple.com, but all my messages are returned to me saying that the addresses I've listed are bad. And I know that the addresses I used were correct.
Thanks,
Brian

Thanks for the reply, but I screwed up. I was using "smtp.mac.com". But I guess its working for you. So I guess I'll double check my settings and try it again.
Thanks...

Wait a minute!!
It's not working correctly for my machine, either!!
I use OS X Mail.app for emails, and I tried both with and without authentication.
"no route to host"
Is what I've been receiving.
Why?
Thanks for the replies in advance,
