I have my new PB since a month or so and the palmrest on the right, above the dvd-r slot, starts to crack a lot when you put your hand on it. Very annoying.
Anybody else having the same problem?

Mine hsan't "cracked" as such, but since day one (and not as obvious now in day 5), I've noticed that every now and then if I place a slight bit of pressure on the right palm-rest and when I lift my hand off, it makes a slight click.

i had this problem but took my computer to my local Apple reseller....

they removed the keyboard and to be fair, took my computer apart..

this operation has solved my problem...

official explanation = "the case was not seated properly, now it is and there is no squeaking"
