Can't Send/Save emails with attachments in OE 5

	When I try to do this I get the error message "Disk Full", as the attachment is encoded. Saving/sending emails without attachments is fine, My outlook Identities folder is about 2 Gigs, so do I need to compact my mailbox, this seems to take forever (I don't get the option to choose a typical or advanced rebuild) and the program appears to crash when I try to "empty deleted items folder" could there be any other cause's/soloutions for the "Disk Full" error message?
