Hey,

I've got a few themes that I love but refuse to use because they theme the dock in a way that I hate. Is there a way to prevent themes from being applied to the dock?

Using ShapeShifter 2 with Tiger.

Thanks.

You've got a few options. If you use ClearDock or TransparentDock, either of those will override ShapeShifter regarding Dock skinning. Otherwise, you can add the Dock to ShapeShifter's exclude list. The Dock is located at /System/Library/CoreServices/Dock.app.

Of course, if you exclude the Dock, it's menus and the Dashboard won't get themed. It's probably a better idea to download ClearDock, which is free. http://www.unsanity.com/haxies/cleardock/
