Courtesy of the Vancouver Bait Car Program.

Lots of entertaining videos of car thieves (i.e., scum) being caught in bait cars. You'll need Windows Media Player. The site has been hugely popular so you might have some problems accessing the site.

Yet another MacNN reference to WMV. Has QT really slipped that much?

QT is not even on the radar as far as major news web sites go.

Which bait video are you referring to?

BTW, if you want to hear more hickish Canadian accents, rent a mockumentary called "Fubar." Don't worry, it's actually a great little indie film (and funny, too).

I think Windows Media streaming is free. Microsoft stopped charging for it a few years ago so they could destroy RealPlayer and Quicktime's marketshare. Looks like they're succeeding, especially since Apple has done much to stop them. They've just focused on movie trailers.

Oncoming - The Most Chilling Baitcar Video Yet

Holy crap! This is a scary one. The driver is high on meth and screaming like a maniac. He points a handgun out the window more than a dozen times. He tries to fire and fully expects the gun to discharge, but thankfully, it appears to jam.

The video is currently low-res. The high-res version should appear sometime soon, according to the website.

Direct video link (requires Windows Media Player)
