I just upgraded to OS 9 from 8.6 onmy 6400/200 (56MB ram). OS 9 did not recognize my built in Express Modem until I installed the Express Modem extension from my old Sys Folder. Now I can connect, but I get disconnected after about 3-5 minutes on line. I disabled the "disconnect after x minutes" option to no avail. Any Suggestions?

I have had the same problems with my iMac rev. B, I have posted some strings and gotten some other info from others. Try checking out the "currupted TCP/IP prefs and also checkout Macfixit' posting for modem and connection problems. I have not completely solved my problem but I have found some suggestions to help narrow it down. You are NOT alone....
