I need Photoshop Elements and I need a new tablet. So I am going to go for the Wacom Bamboo Fun that comes bundled with Elements.
But the bundles on Amazon are still showing that it comes with Elements 5. From what I've read, 6 is worth waiting for. But how long will I have to wait to get 6 bundled with Wacom stuff? Do they offer any sort of free upgrade if you purchase when a new version is out? Has anyone purchased recently that might know?

Not a bad question. It would be great to get Photoshop Elements 6 and a Wacom Tablet together. But I don't think anyone here has the answer. You have to decide whether to wait or not.

Just got the Wacom Bamboo Fun A5 and it does come with Photoshop Elements for the Mac.
VERSION 4 !!! Version 5 for PC.
Think that you'll be waiting a long time.

wow. that's annoying. kind of crazy that they're *that* far behind on them. I am guessing there was no upgrade option, or that Adobe doesn't even have some sort of paid upgrade? I guess when it comes down to it, I'll just be using 4 when I do finally get around to buying a tablet (I was able to do without for the project I needed it for, so I am putting the purchase off yet again). Thanks for the info!

Version 4 was directly before Version 6. They skipped Version 5.

I just downloaded Elements 6 from Adobe's site. I own a previous version so I chose the upgrade path and was only charged $70. I was fully expecting to have to enter my old serial number but was never asked. Not really on topic but thought I'd share.
