It'd certainly be a very nice feature! Too bad it wasn't included in the list of changes leaked by that Chinese website or whatever though.

Oooh a D2 update! I wonder if the graphic glitches (i.e. 3d) in the OS X version have been fixed. I mean it's been years since the last update and the OS and graphics cards have developed tremendously!
cheers

Have they been fixed? I hope they are because it would be sad if they weren't.

I am disappointed to no end. OpenGL FPS on OS X are still as bad as pre-1.11 patches. It took me 10 minutes to install but 10 seconds to trash LoD. Oh well.

just run the game in software mode and problem solved. to be honest the graphics in openGL don't look as crisp as they do in software and having thousands of colors doesn't make a very big difference in such an old game. and the 3d perspective option in openGL makes me sick to my stomach.

just trying to tell you a way to get good frame rates on the game and make it playable. no need to be moody

I'm moody because it shouldn't be that way. I don't just want 'playable'...I want the same level of eye-candy (using a graphics card) and the same speed that I had on OS 9 nearly 4 years ago.
