In the original version of Delicious Library there was a special shelf that displayed the recent imports. This seems to have disappeared with DL2 (if it hasn't I can't find it). Has anyone been able to emulate this with a smart shelf? I tried looking at the date of purchase, but that requires a fixed date, so that is not an option.

I use the date of purchase and just keep modifying it. Not the best thing to do, but it works.

I was sure in the beta there was field in smart shelf search called Creation Date...
In the column selection view it is called Creation Date... however when you enter the Smart Shelf, the field is called Date Entered (need to confirm it is the same - but test result appears to match)
Funny think is that if I select Date Entered, the default name for the Smart shelf is "Creation Date = ..."

Problem is it that it also is a fixed value.

If you click on the Library bar that shows everything you have entered you can set it to show the order in which you put your items into the program. "Purchase Date" or "Creation Date" and set it "now to past" or vice versa. This seems to be the closest you can get to a recent imports shelf without messing with the smart shelf.

Thanks for the tip, rodman! That's so intuitively obvious I should have figured it out myself,
I can see why Wil & Co. didn't think we'd need a manual or anything when we purchased DL2 (hey, what do you expect for 20 bucks?!).
