I'll be ordering a Powerbook soon and I just want to know whether or not I be able to game on it at respectable levels. I'm interested in Call of Duty, UT2004, Warcraft 3, Starcraft, and upcoming games like KOTOR and Homeworld 2.

If I had the money I would go for the 15" and its superior video card but that really isn't an option for me.


So does anyone have any experience with these games? What kind of settings are you able to run them on to get it playable (>25 fps) with the newest 12"? thanks for your input.

My 12" runs UT2K4 and C.O.D perfect! You wont be disappointed.

my friend has the rev. A (two models before your) 12" powerbook, and he has played warcraft 3 all the way through, said it was flawless. he did not get into what settings he used, but if his 2 model ago powerbook handled it, yours will be fine.

I play Warcraft III on my 12" and it runs great, just as good as my three year old P4 1.5Ghz/512mb ram/Geforce2 64mb GTS Pro machine.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein works well too, I get pretty low FPS (around 20-30fps at some points), but it's definately playable.

I used the default settings without problems,but I turned 32-Bit color down to 16-Bit color for more fps,cant tell the difference.
