Anyone know if these two can work together?
I'd like a small color printer for this machine, but Appletalk connections appear to be now extinct.

If you have or can get an ethernet card for the Classic or a localtalk - ethernet adapter then you have a chance.

Hawking Technologies sells a hardware printer server that includes AppleTalk and 3 parallel ports for support of up to 3 printers. It costs $130 which is very cheap for a 3 port print server ( www.hawkingtech.com )

This will also allow the printer to be shared with any other printers on the network. This is also assuming that the HP driver allows network connections and not just USB.
