Hello,
While my Remote Access is open I get from time to time the 'space-bar-repetition' bong, bong, bong. the sound you get if a key is held down inappropriately. this happend before to me with 9.0 or 9,04. the system then got worse and worse and I eventually needed to do a clean install of 9 > 9.04 > 9.1 on a seperate partition of my HD.

the 'bong' stops when I close RA, and will wake the computer up from sleep. I disconected the keyboard while this was happening, and that had no effect, thinking this might tell me if it was a keyboard problem.

the 'decay' is getting worse. on initial boot the RA works fine dailing the first time, connecting, etc. on closing the connection, and then connecting a second time later, I do not get the immediate dial tone and connection, there is a delay in the dial sounds, and then I get a dial that repeats but does not connect.

I do not know how to replace just the RA portion of the System or if this would help. Im concerned that this problem will escalate and get me back into my previous problems assuming they were similar and that only a guess.

any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the current DiskWarrior and TechToolsPro. I do not have a current Norton.
