What's the over/under on Kim and/or her new boyfriend being bad guys now?

Keep in mind, she was close to the bad guy, who was there for her when Jack was "dead." And we know NOTHING of her boyfriend.

Kim was cloned a-la Alias, or perhaps a Killer Fembot. Any day now she will be shooting poisoned darts from her nipples.
Do you want forgiveness or respect?

I wonder what's going to happen to RoboCop since he's left in that room with Tony (who now knows he's responsible for what happened to his wife).

I think you may be on to something. RoboCop seems to be hiding something far more complicated than just giving terrorists nerve gas. I think the VPs sudden call for martial law in LA somehow ties into this.

My theory?
- There is a conspiracy in the Gov't by hard-liners to take control. Everything from season 1 'till now was orchestrated by them. Last seasons shoot-down of Airforce 1 was done so that they could get the current Vp-made-Pres into office, b/c they knew they could control him. RoboCop was part of a group who was trying to expose them "for the good of the country." Kim, thinking both her parents were killed and essentially screwed over by the very Gov't her father worked for, is bitter and was recruited by this group. Jack will eventually have to choose between a corrupt gov't or terrorists seeking to end that corruption. He will side with the terrorists.

Same here, Edger was quite annoying and served little purpose. His death was a surprise, but he deserved to die for selling Jack out last season anyway, which led to the deaths Palmer and Dessler.

I missed last week's episode.

There are too many factors to going into orchestrating THAT big of a conspiracy. It would be impossible.

Since I missed last week's episode, how did Buchanan get out of holding, and how was the stand-off between him and the hobbit resolved so that the hobbit got put into holding in turn? I saw CTU security aiming their guns. . .

Curtis relieved Rudy of his command due to mental incompetence. Curtis then released the vast number of CTU Agents that Rudy was holding captive so they could frolic and play and eventually get gassed due to aforementioned mental incompetence.

Anyone have good torrents for the early part of the season? I started watching late and I'm trying to catch up, but I have a knack for downloading crap. Whoever posted the two above for episodes 1 and 2, thanks

How was Curtis able to do that which Bill Buchanan could not? I thought, if anyone could, Audrey would be the one with the authority to overrule Rudy. I can't believe I missed the original airing and the replay. If only Fox would keep its broadcast schedule stable I would have had a better chance to see it.

By the time it happened, everyone knew beyond a doubt that Rudy had lost it. CTU discovered on their own that the Russian motorcade was going to be attacked, and Rudy wouldn't let them notify Secret Service. Audrey and a couple of other people went behind Rudy's back and notified Secret service anyway, forcing an unsuccessful attack against the Russians. When Rudy found out, he pulled a nutty and was having everyone involved and everyone that knew everyone involved, arrested and was having Audrey tossed out of the building when Curtis relieved him. That's when security was pulling their guns. There was a 'tense' few moments where security wasn't sure what they should do, since everyone is wanting someone taken to holding, but Curtis wins out and Rudy goes to the brig.

It will be when Jack defies death and walks up to the nerve gas and turns it off.

Because Jack knows how to hold his breath for minutes at a time. Part of his training. LOL

I'm serious, I'd like to see them boil over stuck in that room. Trying to get outside people to do things to get them out, etc.

It could be either boring or intense...

I'm just trying to figure out why they just didn't shut off the fans in the ventilation system. And as for Edgar, I did like the character even if he did whine at times.

I hope the writers come up with a plot line that involves Kim, Audrey, no clothes and a swimming pool.

There was a running joke after the cougar and the bomb shelter plot lines that Kim's plotline for the following season should involve her, a white t-shirt, and a swimming pool that she just can't get out of.

I wasn't too sad to see Edgar go. But I am not attached to Chloe either.

The only trained geek on current TV shows I don't find annoying is Abby the Goth chick from NCIS.

I know this is a long-standing issue with the series, but for some reason CTU's ability to instantaneously zip around LA is really starting to bug me this season. It took that motorcade how long to get to the airport, yet Jack et al have been zipping to the airport, to the president, and back several times in one episode.... They must have a teleportation device they aren't showing us. Jack also got to Henderson's house way before Henderson, even though Henderson had a bit of a head start.

And I love how Jack instantaneously recognized the schematic of CTU's ventilation system in last Monday's episode. That's pretty impressive

I like the show and don't expect 24 to be realistic, I just enjoy these leaps into quasi-reality.

Chloe is kind of annoying too, but I'd rather see Edger go than her, if for no other reason than I enjoyed it when Bill snapped "I don't have time to deal with your personality disorder right now". Stuff like that makes it worth keeping her around

I was reading in the paper this morning about these shows killing off main characters (Lost, 24, The Sheild) and they had an interview with the guy who played Soul Patch. He said originally, he was supposed to die in the season premier with Michelle, but they decided that might be a bit much, three major characters biting it in one show, so they took his advice and moved his demise into a later episode.

Found it

Did you see this weeks episode? If not, I have some bad news for you: Tony did indeed die Monday night. Tony was about to kill Henderson with a syringe of something or other when Henderson grabbed if away and stabbed Tony in the heart with it.

I do think it was a bit of a cheesy way to kill Tony. As an agent he was near Jack's level; he shouldn't have given up the syringe that easily.

24 has been getting great ratings, right? So why does this season appear to be the last one? It looks like it has to be, unless Jack can collect the dragon balls and make a wish to revive everyone who was lost.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's called a "lethal injection" for a reason.
