I'm sure there is a very simple answer to this...

For some reason a few of my folders are sorted Z--A, while others are sorted A--Z. How do I make them all A--Z, as Z--A is quite annoying!

Thanks for any help...

click it.

If you are in List view, the sort order is determined by the triangle just above the right-hand scroll bar. Click it to reverse sort order.

If you are in Icon or Button view, I'm not sure how you got Z-A, but here is how you can get out of it. Click once in the window to make it active. Select from the menu View -> View Options... to bring up the View Options dialog. Click the "Set to Standard Views" button and close the dialog. That will remove the custom sort arrangement. Then go back to the View Options dialog and under "Icon Arrangement" choose "Keep Arranged by [ Name ]". Close the dialog again, that window is fixed.

Note: you can also reach the View Options dialog by control-clicking in the window and choosing "View Options" from the pop-up menu.

Above the vertical scroll bar is a little button that looks like a cool arrow. Click it to choose between reverse alphabetical and alphabetical sorting.

EDIT: Heh, beat me. Thats what I get for leaving the reply window open for 10 mins
