I agree with the sentiment behind the page; the US has nothing to apologize for.
That said, there really isn't much to the site. If you are trying to counter sorryeverybody.com, you're going to have to do better than that.

On a web design note... who makes a top banner image that is 1262 pixels wide??? Not only is the site a waste of time, but the code and design is horrible! 40% or so of the web still only have 800 x 600 pixels of screen res, about the same number 1024 x 768. Either way, tooooooo many people will have horizontal scroll bars when viewing this image. Bad design.
OK, maybe I missed the point....
