I have some charts that I have made in AppleWorks (spreadsheet) that I would like to include in a tex document I am working on. The problem is I can't seem to work out a way to get them included in the document as vector graphics.
About the best I can do is copy the chart, then do a special paste in GraphicConverter that converts the vector PICT in the clipboard to a 300 (or any other) dpi bitmap image, which I can then save and include in the document. Printing the chart and saving as PDF works accept the image that gets included is of course the size of a full page, not the size of the chart so there is a lot of whitespace around it.
Does anyone know of any software that will somehow allow me to convert a vector PICT to PDF?

Like me, you are bemoaning the lack of EPS creation via Print.. in OS X.
Some thoughts:
1. Can you not import the PICT file straight into your document?
2. If you have Acrobat, you can get the PDF to crop to the limits of the graph so there is no white space around the edge.

As far as I know I can't import the PICT's directly, if anyone knows differently, let me know.
I don't have Acrobat, is there any other way to crop PDF's?

What application are you using to generate your document?
