My iBook doesnt seem to wake up all the time after I close the lid. It just doesnt turn on. The white dot just keeps on fading in and out, Even when I open the lid. There is no way I can shut it off or restart it execpt to remove the battery and the ac adatper from the ibook. I really really dont like to do this, So If anyone has a fix please tell me. Its a big problem that needs to be fixed.

are you using a USB hub?

I think you should boot from the disc and run Disk Utility to repair the numerous disk problems you no doubt have.

If this fails to correct your wake-from-sleep issue, then a format-install may be in order.
