Hey all, help me find this song. I have very little info except that this little beat is played in the song by some electrical type instrument.
"Da Dant... Da. Da. Da Dant".
I know, I know, how the heck is that going to help. But that's all I got. You can hear this little bit on a commercial that's out currently though I don't know what the commercial is for.
It may be a Mariah Carey song, but I'm not sure.
Good luck and Thanks

I think you're thinking of Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love" - the one that goes " . . . with my boyfriend, my lucky boyfriend . . . "
Amazon should have a sample of it.

See - I told you it was on the tip of my tongue.
When I was working in a record store about 24 years ago, a woman called and said "Hey, do you have that album with the white cover and the lady on it?" That was all she could tell me. I don't remember if we ever figured it out or not.

Your pretty amazing to have figured that out with the most obscure information ever.
I've downloaded it already, but I'm wondering now how the rest of the album sounds. Think I'll run out this week and look for it so they get their money. Think Best Buy would have it? I mean they're not really a main stream band right? I'll look!
Thanks Again!

Not that clever - I've seen the commercial and I have the album. When you said "Kia", I figured it out.
Tom Tom Club was an off-shoot of Talking Heads. I thought it was a pretty good album when it came out - if you like "Genius of Love", you'll probably like the rest.
Don't know if Best Buy would have it or not - it's still in print, though.

Well, I love the Talking Heads and that particular Tom Tom Club song so I'll be looking for the album.
