I have a dual 1.25 G4 MDD and I'm getting ready to upgrade it from 512mb stock memory. I do a lot of graphics work with photoshop/illustrator/quark/indesign/etc. as well as audio work. I am unsure as to whether I should upgrade to the maximum 2GB of RAM or just go to 1GB and save money. Has anyone got a good idea of the performance increase one would get in such applications from the two upgrades I'm considering? Also, if you could recommend where to purchase the memory, maybe save a little cash, that'd be great.

Max it out to 2GB.. or at least to 1.5.. here is a link for some inexpensive memory for your model: MDD Powermac G4 Memory
