TrackPad Button and Fan Clatter Woes

OK, am I the only one with an unacceptable TrackPad button?
- It's way too stiff. I tried a friend's sub-$1000 Dell laptop ... far less effort, much better "feel."
- Sometimes a single tap sends a double-click.
- It rattles.
- Bottom line: it frustrates!
Fans, they seem to be two-stage ... quiet on low speed, but very noisy on high speed. In addition, the left one has a "clatter" on high speed.

Hmmm ... there's a discussion of the fan clatter on the Apple Discussion site, but I guess I'm the only one complaining about the trackpad button :-|

My button is uneven -- its sticks up on the right-hand side. It usually works ok, but it annoys me. My wifes rev. A ibook (dual USB) had the same problem. I sent it back to apple and it took about 3 weeks for them to fix... So you can imagine why I haven't sent this one back. But I guess it's mostly cosmetic in my case.

Hmmm ... my wife's from Funabashi, maybe that's the common thread
