Hi,

I have been using ANT on windows for a while, and would like to do the same on my mac.
I've downloaded ANT 1.6.0, placed it in '/usr/local/ant' and tried to add ANT_HOME to my path. But everytime I take a new shell, ant is not in my path.
I cant run that ant script that runs on my win-box, I just get an error in terminal. And writing "ant" dosen't do anything either.

So, how do I install it, and how do I execute a script ?

Please, is there somewhere a tutorial that explaing it, or can someone spare 5 minutes and do it ? I've tryed Google, but haven't found anything usefull.

You need to set the ANT_HOME env variable. I use bash so here is the line in my .bash_profile:

export ANT_HOME=/usr/local/ant/apache-ant-a.6beta2

Of course you need to point at the location of your own ant install.
